Founded in 1969 by Özer Boyacı, Levent Sanayi Ltd. Şti. has its origins in a shirt manufacturing factory passed down from Özer’s father, Mehmet Boyacı. The name “Levent,” meaning “brave sailor,” was selected through a contest organized by Mehmet and Özer Boyacı. Over the years, Levent has grown into multiple sectors and now employs over 2,500 people, making it the largest local employer in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Created at Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv, Levent’s logo consists of a group of L shapes coming together to form a sun, symbolizing unity, growth, and energy. The design reflects their motto, "Together We Produce, Together We Succeed," capturing the company’s collaborative spirit and commitment to progress.
